vCard QR Code Generator

Your contact details.
One scan to keep them.

Create a contact QR code from a name, phone number and email. Add optional work details, choose a color or logo, then download PNG, SVG or PDF. The information is stored directly in the code; a compatible scanner can offer to save the contact.

Share only details you want others to read. Test contact import on the phones your audience uses before printing.

From contact details to a usable code

The final check happens on the phone that will save the contact.

  1. 01

    Fill in the details

Use a name plus a phone number or email. Keep the country calling code and check spelling. Work details are optional; shorter data produces a less dense code.

  2. 02

    Generate and download

Choose a readable dark color and an optional logo. The finished PNG, SVG and PDF are read back independently. Adjust the print size if the print check refuses it.

  3. 03

    Scan and check the contact

Use the phone’s camera or a compatible scanner. Review the imported fields before saving, then test a printed sample at its actual size.

What goes into a vCard QR code?

It contains contact data, rather than a link to a hosted business-card page.

A readable name

Display name; optional name parts

Your display name is kept as entered. You may provide given and family names separately; the tool does not guess how to split a full name. Check the receiving contacts app.

A way to reach you

Phone or email

Include at least one contact method. A phone number is not verified by this tool, and generating the code does not place a call or send a message.

Optional work information

Company, role and website

Add only useful public information. The website must be a full HTTPS address. Keep private addresses, passwords and confidential notes out of public codes.

Let people keep the right details

Place a clear label next to the code, such as “Save my contact”.

Printed business cards

Let a recipient save your contact details without retyping them. Keep the name and essential number readable on the card too.

Meetings and events

Use a code on your badge or presentation. Ask people to review the contact before saving; scanning is not consent to marketing.

Service contact points

Share a public support contact on a leaflet or counter card. This stores a contact; it does not open a booking system or track support requests.

Contact data or a website link?

Choose what the scan should contain before you distribute the code.

A contact code is shareable information.

Anyone with the image can copy the encoded details. There is no password, remote revocation or editable hosted profile in this static vCard. Removing a download later cannot erase codes already printed or sent.

Scanner and contacts-app support varies. Some cameras show raw text or require another compatible scanner. This tool does not verify identity, number ownership, email delivery or contact import on every device.

Before sharing a contact QR code

01

Can I create it without an account?

This static contact code is generated locally without a QRCodeBrain account. Cloud saving and editable hosted business cards are not part of this tool.

03

Does it work offline?

The contact data is inside the QR code and does not require a hosted page to read. Saving it depends on the scanner and contacts app; opening its website or sending email needs the relevant service.

05

What if the code is too dense?

Remove optional fields or increase the printed size. Keep the white border. The print check uses the chosen size and resolution; it does not replace scanning a real printed sample.

07

Does scanning send an email or SMS?

No. It exposes contact information for the visitor to review. It does not send messages, subscribe people or automatically add them to a mailing list.

02

Can I change the phone number after printing?

No. The phone number is encoded in the static image. Correct the details, generate a new code and replace the copies you distributed.

04

Will every iPhone and Android phone save it?

Universal compatibility is not guaranteed. Try the downloaded file on your intended devices and confirm the import screen. A successful QR readback proves the encoded data, not device-specific contact behavior.

06

Is this an editable digital business card?

No. A vCard carries contact fields directly. A digital business-card service hosts a profile page and has separate editing, storage and privacy requirements.

08

Which file should I download?

Use PNG for ordinary screen sharing, SVG for scalable artwork and PDF for print layouts. Download the VCF if you also want to inspect or import the contact directly. Test the file and final printed size before sharing.
