QR Code Handoff Card Generator

A QR code handoff card.
Ready for your client.

Choose a QR code, explain its use and maintenance, then download a clear card for your client. Continue with the same details in either entrance.

An instruction card accompanies your print file. It does not transfer an account or verify a physical print.

Creating the file…

One handoff, three clear steps

Start with the actual QR code. Add the project arrangement. Check the card together with the artwork.

  1. 01

    Use the actual QR code

The encoded address, type, size and filename come from the chosen or generated code.

  2. 02

    Write the real maintenance arrangement

Tell the recipient who updates the content and how to reach them. Missing facts stay marked as missing.

  3. 03

    Review and share the files

Read the same card in either entrance, then download the current confirmed version.

What your client learns from the handoff card

Enter the actual project details, download a PDF or image, and send it with the QR materials.

What this QR code does

For a menu table stand, explain where to place it and that scanning opens the menu. The card describes the purpose and placement of this particular code.

What you provideClient or shop name, material name, recipient, scanning purpose and placement.

How to make changes

If the menu URL stays the same, update the web page. If the URL changes, the card explains what to do for the selected static or dynamic code.

What you provideContent owner, who makes updates, and the actual steps for making them.

Who to contact

The card names the people responsible for the web content and the QR or print files, with a practical way for the client to reach them.

What you provideThe QR and print maintainer, plus an email address or another agreed contact method.

Send the PDF with the design or print files, or share the image in your project chat. Include the original QR material files too.

Different projects. The same clear template.

Table menu

Explain where to place it, who changes the menu and what happens if the menu URL changes.

Event poster

Explain who edits the sign-up page and when a new QR code or poster is needed.

Other printed material

Use your real project details. Do not copy another client’s contacts or maintenance arrangement.

Before you hand over the files

Agree on maintenance

State the cost, duration and included changes. Confirm anything unagreed rather than assuming free lifetime maintenance.

Arrange account access separately

The card does not give the client access to an account. Include names and contact details, never account passwords.

Test a print before the full run

Print one copy and scan it with a phone to check that it opens the right content. The card cannot replace this physical test.

Before you hand it over

01

Is this the printable QR artwork?

No. The card explains the artwork. Send both files so the client has the QR code and the instructions.

02

Do I have to use the workspace?

You can prepare the card on this tool page. The workspace provides another entrance for an existing QR code and continues the same task.

03

Will I have to fill everything in again?

Switching between these two entrances keeps the current QR code, project details and preview.

04

Can a static QR address be changed?

No. Editing content on the same page is different from changing the address stored in the code. A new address requires a new static code.

05

Can a dynamic destination always be changed?

Only if the actual provider and the person’s management permissions support it. A contact name does not grant access.

06

What if I do not know the maintainer?

Keep the card as a draft and confirm the missing contact. A completed card cannot be exported with required information missing.

07

Does the card prove the printed code will scan?

No. Software image readback and an actual printed-copy scan are separate checks. Always print and scan one copy first.

08

Does it transfer the customer account?

No. Accounts, ownership and editing permissions follow their existing processes and agreements.
