Add your URLs below

You prepare the pages. This tool selects which URL opens.

Set your routing rules

Add a default URL, then your rules. Rules are checked from top to bottom; the first match wins.

Default destination

The QR code’s current target. Used when no rule matches, routing is off or rules are unavailable.

Route by visitor conditions

Every scan opens the default URL. The QR code still works and your rules are kept.

Changes affect live scans only after you create or save the QR code.

Off

Matching rules

Top to bottom. The first matching rule wins.

No matching rules yet

Every scan uses the default destination. Add a rule and check the result in the preview.

How do matching and fallback work?

Conditions within a rule use AND. Rules run in order. Unknown attributes do not match a specific condition; other conditions can still match. Browser languages match their primary tag: pt-BR becomes Portuguese.

A scheduled switch updates only the default URL. Matching routing rules still take priority. Pauses, archiving, risk holds and passwords are checked first.

How to use it

Set a default URL

Choose a complete website address as the default destination, such as a main product page. Visitors use it when no enabled rule matches, so make sure it works for the audience that does not receive a specific version.

Add rules and preview

Choose destinations by country, language or device, then test the order.

Save and keep managing

Sign in, confirm creation, and edit the same rules in My QR codes.

When to use smart routing

Regional campaigns

Send visitors in Brazil to a local event, and everyone else to a general registration page.

Multilingual instructions

Send Chinese browsers to your Chinese instructions and Portuguese browsers to your existing Portuguese page.

Phone and desktop pages

Send phones to a mobile page and computers to a desktop page.

Questions

How is a smart QR code different from a dynamic QR code?

A standard dynamic QR code uses one current destination. Smart routing adds conditions to select a destination while keeping the printed QR code.

Does a multilingual QR code translate my pages?

No. Provide your own localized URLs. Routing uses the preferred primary browser language; pt-BR and pt-PT both match pt.

What if more than one rule matches?

The first enabled rule whose conditions all match wins, from top to bottom. Reorder rules and inspect the matching trace in the preview.

What happens when no rule matches or routing is off?

The current default URL is used. Unknown values do not match specific conditions. Passwords, pauses and risk holds are checked first.

Can I edit the rules in merchant management later?

Yes. Open the saved code in “My QR codes”, change its rules and save. The public tool and code details use those same saved rules, so the short link and printed image stay the same. Check the preview after changing the order or destinations.

Does this include random distribution, GPS or app deep links?

This tool routes by country, the browser’s preferred main language and phone/tablet/computer type. It does not provide GPS routing, random A/B splitting, app deep links or automatic translation. Prepare the destination pages yourself and use the preview to check the rules.
