What happens to your codes

• ·Cancel: cancelling stops the next renewal only. The plan you already paid for stays in force until the end of the current period — that date is shown on your billing page — and after it passes, creating and changing destinations follow the free plan.
• ·Failed payment: while the charge is being retried the plan stays in force — the account is not downgraded during that window.
• ·Never settled, or canceled outright: the account falls back to the free plan.
• ·Refund: the account falls back to the free plan immediately, without waiting for the period to end.
• ·Refund eligibility: within 72 hours of a purchase or a renewal, and only while no paid benefit from that billing period has been used, support can review the request and refund the full amount to the original payment method.
• ·Once any paid benefit of that billing period has been used, or once those 72 hours have passed, the payment is not refunded.
• ·Refunds are reviewed by a person at support@qrcodebrain.com. There is no self-service refund button anywhere in this product, and nothing is refunded automatically.
• ·Closing your account is not a refund request and never triggers one. It stops the next renewal, and the period you already paid for runs to its end.
• ·Cancellation, a failed payment, a plan that ends and a refund change only what you can manage here — they never stop a code that is still active, never change its destination, and never edit the code itself. A printed code keeps redirecting to its current destination. Redirects still stop when you pause or archive a code yourself, when its destination no longer passes the URL check, while a safety hold is open, and while abuse protection or a service outage is in effect.
• ·Codes beyond what the plan includes are never deleted, paused, or stopped from redirecting. The oldest ones keep every right; the rest lose only “change destination”.
• ·Cancelling or letting a plan expire never deletes your data by itself. If you delete your account, support tickets are kept 12 months, abuse/security/audit and invitation records 24 months, and financial records 7 years; a legal hold outranks all three. Scan statistics expire on their existing schedule.
• ·Only delivered redirects are counted, per UTC calendar month, across the whole account. Static codes are never counted, and changing a destination does not consume this allowance.
• ·You are told inside the product at 80% and again at 100%. No email, SMS or push alert is sent.
• ·Reaching the included amount starts a 14-day grace window, counted from that day inclusive.
• ·After grace, only creating a code and changing a destination pause. Redirects, statistics, export, pause, resume and archive are untouched, and going over never triggers a charge.
• ·The allowance resets when the next UTC month begins. Moving to a larger plan restores it on the next read and never clears the month's usage.
• ·Changing a destination has no separate fee and no separate change counter. It remains subject to the dynamic-code and monthly redirect allowances shown above.
• ·Scan statistics retain the most recent 397 UTC calendar dates, including today. After a code has been archived for 90 days, all of its scan aggregates are deleted.
