Look before you go
See the complete contents. Check a web address, then explicitly confirm before opening it.
Your image stays on your device.
Reading happens inside your browser. No image history is kept, and choosing another image clears the previous result.
Only when you choose to check a web address is that address sent for a risk check. Your image is never sent.
Before you open it
Does reading a QR code open its link?
No. Reading only reveals the contents. A web address can be opened here only after a usable risk result and your explicit confirmation.
What if there are several QR codes?
You can choose each detected code. Selecting another code clears the previous risk result and confirmation. When the detection limit is reached, crop the image and read it again.
What if the photo is blurry?
Use the original screenshot, enlarge the code, or crop around it before trying again. An unreadable image is not reported as a successful scan.
Can I read Wi-Fi codes and text?
The decoded contents can be viewed and copied. Wi-Fi credentials, plain text and non-HTTPS content are not automatically executed or opened.
Is “no known threat” a safety guarantee?
No. It means the address was not matched on the checked threat lists. It does not prove the identity of the site or inspect every redirect.
