QR code tracking.Read the response.

Create a dynamic QR code, then open its details in “My QR codes” to see recorded visits by day, country and device. Use a separate code for each poster, package or channel you want to compare. These are redirect counts, not unique people or sales.

What does QR code tracking measure?

A dynamic QR code passes through a managed redirect before the destination opens. Its recorded redirects can be grouped by day, country and device. These are requests—not unique people, completed visits or sales.

Three questions. A more useful next step.

Open a saved code’s statistics to answer the questions below. The charts on this page are labelled examples, not your account data or measured campaign results.

Read the timing

When did requests arrive?

Compare recorded daily activity with the dates of your campaign. Days use UTC.

Understand the audience context

Where and on what device?

Compare coarse country and device groups. Unknown values remain visible.

Compare placements thoughtfully

Which code belongs where?

Use a separate dynamic code for each placement, within your plan. Read each code’s statistics.

HOW IT WORKS

From your first code to its response.

  1. Create a dynamic QR code

Sign in, open the workspace, choose dynamic QR code, enter a name and the destination address, then save. To compare a counter card with packaging, create and name one code for each placement within your plan’s allowance.

  2. Share it where it belongs

Use your code on a sign, packaging or a campaign. Static codes that go directly to a website do not acquire these statistics.

  3. Read the code’s statistics

Open My QR codes, choose the code, and read its statistics. Reload for newer aggregates; recent requests can take time to appear.

Tracking starts with the right kind of code.

Useful signals. Clear boundaries.

A read failure is not zero

The statistics screen distinguishes loading, no recorded requests and a failed read. If a read fails, reload it.

Redirects keep priority

Aggregation runs after the redirect. Recent data can be delayed; an aggregation failure can leave a request uncounted.

No individual scan profile

QR aggregates do not store raw IP addresses, complete browser identifiers or precise location. See the privacy policy for the wider service.

Questions before you start.

Only if it already uses a QRCodeBrain dynamic redirect. A static code pointing directly to a website cannot be retrofitted with our redirect statistics. Your destination website may have its own analytics.

No. The unit is a recorded successful redirect request. Repeat requests, bots and link previews may count, while aggregation failures may undercount. We do not report unique people or identities.

No. You can view coarse country groups and an unknown group. QRCodeBrain does not provide GPS, city-level locations or individual scan profiles.

No. Redirect statistics do not confirm a sale or what someone did on the destination website. Optional UTM parameters can label a campaign; the destination needs its own analytics to measure further actions.

Create a separately named dynamic code for each placement within your account’s allowance, then compare their code-level statistics. The same code used in several places cannot tell those placements apart on its own.

An account is required for dynamic QR codes. Available code slots and scan allowances depend on your plan. Check the current pricing page and the allowance shown in your account; this page does not promise unlimited free tracking.

Make your next QR code measurable.

Create and save a dynamic code, share it on your materials, then open that code in “My QR codes” to review its statistics. If you already have one, use the existing-code link above.
